A 23-year-old from Southampton was given a jail term of 27 weeks, deferred for one year, after admitting to dangerous driving.

According to police officials, the video was filmed at an unauthorized car meet in the city on 28 December 2024, showing the driver driving a pink BMW.

A police sergeant commented: “Local people, drivers and our traffic officers have had enough with these crowds of drivers selfishly occupying streets and parking areas and we will not tolerate it.”
The officer continued: “These events are not only a complete nuisance, but they also put participants and uninvolved individuals at risk of serious injury.”
He finished: “We will continue to prosecute these individuals and I trust these recent cases act as a caution: you won’t get away with it.”
